CV9.ini error troubleshooting
If CV gets these two errors when you attempt to login (Unable to write to CV9.ini and Exception EAccessViolation in module rtl100.bpl at 00002618. Access violation at address 20002618 in module 'rtl100.bpl'. Read of address FFFFFFFC.) Try these steps to troubleshoot.
- Close out of CV
- Open File Explorer -> enter %appdata% in your address bar
- Go to Euclid Technology\CV9
- Locate the CV9.ini file
- Rename the file to CV9_old.ini
- Log back into CV.
If you are still unable to login, try to repoint the selector tool away from MSAS and back to MSAS. Then try logging into CV again. How to repoint the selector tool found below:
- Open File Explorer -> OS (C:)
- Click on Program Files (x86) -> Euclid
- Find and double-click on 'SelectClearVantage9DB.exe', from the dropdown box select 'COBAR_UPGRADE' and select 'OK'
- Double-click on 'SelectClearVantage9DB.exe' again, and select 'MSAS' and select 'OK'
- Log back into CV.
